Dragon Nhus is always looking for articles, photographs, and information by and about Cuong Nhu members, the style of Cuong Nhu, and on martial arts, in general, in order to assist in the development of knowledge among Cuong Nhu members about all martial arts and related subjects. In addition to articles and photographs, the newsletter regularly seeks material for the "Events" and "Nhusworthy" sections, material on dojo or regional highlights, items by and about children in the martial arts. Members are also needed to participate in the "Scavenging Scholar" book and video review section.
When writing articles for Dragon Nhus, please provide the first and last name of each individual mentioned in the text. Titles and affiliations, where appropriate, are also preferred when mentioning an individual for the first time.
Unfamiliar words or expressions in foreign languages should be italicized (ranks should not be considered foreign words).
In the event that you cite material from another source, it is preferred that you use one of two methods to indicate the source. The general footnote format (name of author, exact title of work cited, place of publication, publisher, date of publication, page number of citation); or you may use the scientific method of citation (author, work, date).
When submitting photographs for Dragon Nhus, please provide the first and last name of each individual, their dojo, when and where the photograph was taken, and the name of the person who took the picture.
All submissions will be considered for publication based on the strengths of the material, and not on rank or age of the person who submitted the item. So, if you have something that you would like to share, or an idea for future issues, send it by email to the editor for consideration.
